ASTON MARTIN WAX PROTECTION DETAIL

This Aston Martin Vantage V8 has an interesting history. Having been in the same family for thirty years, the owner decided, 10 years ago, to have it restored. This was carried out by Pugsley and Lewis, the Aston Martin specialists who got this beautiful example to concours condition.

The owner only takes the Aston out for road trips two or three times a year and since the restoration, has used Carbon Detailing to prepare the car for winter storage.

It was given at the start a fundamental clean followed by a single-stage machine polish. The paintwork was then coated with SwissVax ‘Best of Show’ wax to provide full protection leaving a deep gloss shine. The interior of the car is also treated with protective coatings on the leather and carpets.

Ever year since the car has received a maintenance detail with a wax top up before going back under cover.
